Very disappointing experience with car rental. Although the web site indicates they'll pick you up and drop off, don't count on reliability. After a half hour of calling repeatedly for a pick-up (and finally getting past a voicemail recording to an actual person), I was told it would be 45-60 minutes before I could have a pick-up. Once I finally got there, the price quoted was more than the "guaranteed" price quoted (they did not honor a Discover Card promo coupon). At that point, I was so anxious to get on the road - I figured I'd just work it out later - WRONG. Hertz corporate couldn't get the price corrected since the location is a private licensee. They suggested I contact the rental place directly (although I told them I was doubtful that would work given my experience). Called them anyway and was told they could not make any corrections on the billing (No Surprise) since they had closed it out. In summary - I suggest renting somewhere else other than this location or with Hertz.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Enterprise rent a car in Ashland out of TC Chevy is not only way more professional, they charge only 50$ deposit and way nicer vehicles, with fast, kind, efficient, and genuine customer service. You will find nothing but disappointment from Hertz rental.
They tried over charging me 80 whe i had pre reserved the car for 86. The final total was 150. Never coming back
If I could rate a -star I would. By far the worst rental agency ever! Every single one of the employers was rude! They were an hour late on getting me a rental, making me miss a very important family event. I emailed the manager and she never responded back. When I finally got a hold of her she denied receiving my email. She lied and said my deposit was returned, which it wasn't, and when I asked how she would make the mistakes of her branch better, she said she wouldn't.
They never answer the phone and they overcharged me. Do not rent from this place! They do not know how to conduct business properly.
My car was very nice and clean. Also, the people working there were helpful. They made sure I got where I needed to be and helped me out in a tricky situation.
