Dr. Nelson will definitely be my Family Dentist.
We were looking forward to having a family dentist right close to our house! It was our children's first time at the dentist, they come out and just take our first child back say we can not go with her for the x-rays. Kind of inappropriate for our first time at this dentist. Then the Dentist just starts doing his exam without anybody informing the parents at all. So some guy that none of us has ever seen, is seeing my daughter. They finally come out to tell us that we can now go back and inform us that there is not enough room for all of us. Which would be My husband and I, our two boys which one was on me in a sling the other was supposed to also be seen. So Now My Daughter and son are being seen by a Dentist that I have never even met. Not to mention that the staff were not nice, they couldn't even supply a pen with the paperwork that they want you to fill out. When I first called to schedule the appointments the person I talked to was rude as well. We will not be going back and it is a shame. I Would not recommend this place to any family you might as well take your kids to a Pediatric dentist you might be better respected that way and might actually be able to meet the Dentist before they touch your child! Highly inappropriate!
Dr. Nelson is very knowledgeable and knows how to prioritize needs. I have had awful experiences in California that I will not begin to describe on here, but overall if felt like they were just trying to suck as much money from me as possible, taking advantage of my lack of dental knowledge. Dr. Nelson is fair and let me know what to focus on first since I don't have dental insurance. He didn't use any scare tactics or fancy jargon to lure me into paying more than necessary. His whole staff is welcoming and makes one feel you're in good hands. I highly recommend Central Point Family Dentistry to anyone who is nervous about seeing a dentist and it's costs. Fast and reletively painless!
Dr. Nelson is a wonderful dentist. I have had the experience to work with him, and to watch him with his patients. I can say he has an amazing bed side manor, he is wonderful with adult patients as well as children. If you are looking for a dentist that always makes you feel accepted and valued along with your teeth being taken care of then Dr. Nelson is a perfect choice. He is genuinely a great dentist and a very good person.
Dr Nelson and his staff are very caring and make every dental visit very positive. He is super gentle with injections, which is much appreciated, I hardly felt it! He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and cared about. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone..for adults or children! They truly care about your oral health here :)
I am so HAPPY to write this review. I was impressed with Central Point Family Dentistry. The interaction I had with the staff and Dr. Nelson was comfortable. They are all so easy going and professional. I was super impressed with the bedside manor and knowledge of Dr. Nelson and the male dental assistant-soon to be a Dentist. They were patient and informative as they explained my treatment plan. The best part of this team... you can FEEL how much they care.
