It was quiet, well maintained, clean and orderly. The owners/managers, "The Dardanelles" were a very friendly family. In fact, that's exactly the feeling I came away with when leaving Dardanelles. The sense that I had left behind a very happy family scene. They also own and operate a little market across the lane from the park. That, as well, was quite nice to visit of a morning. The service was great and never with a hint of anything other than happiness. They really know how to serve the public.
Like living in a campground
Manager is a sexist jerk, doesn't know how to fix anything so you have to wait what seems like forever for a matiness person to come and even look at it. The park is run down, needs loads of repairs and paint. The community bathroom should be condemned due to all the mold and filth. The houses themselves have mold in the walls that only get painted over. The person who does yard work is careless and will hit your car with rocks while using the weed eater and not even apologize for it. A lot of the neighbors seem to have some weird transactions daily that seem very suspious, other neighbors openly smoke pot outside to the point the smoke comes into any house with its windows open. The washer and dryer are always breaking. The manager himself said that they don't like to allow kids into the park that they would rather it be 55+, but sense its not classified as one they have to let kids it. Pets are welcome, but given no where to walk or run, all parts of small areas of grass state no dogs. If you do rent here, you'll have to ask several times for a copy of your contract or one will not be given. Every resident has a different set of rules (not on paper, but so it seems). The little yard that you do have no one (the neighbors or manager) respect as being your yard and will walk threw it even right next to your house. And the real owner is there only once ever 6 months, and only during that time does anything get done or look nice.
All in all, don't rent here.
